A Study On Construction Of University Library Subject Service System

AS the continuous changes and developments of the information service environment and the user information demands, the university libraries face a new situation. It's very important for university libraries to take measures in subject service.This thesis represent the background of the subject service and explicit the definition, combine status and experience of some representative university libraries. On the basis, it discusses the element and constructional principle of subject service, propose and build a driven need of users, dynamic, personalized subject service model. It highlights the network environment, the Web2.0 technology for making up the subject service system.This thesis draws the conclusion through the research:1. The university library builds the subject service system including four basic models such as subject library, subject librarian, subject institutional repository and subject guide.2. Discussed the guiding rules that should be followed by building the university library subject service system. According to the general goals of the university library subject service system, provided the corresponding guiding principles that the system must obey so as to guide the construction.3. Building the university library subject service system under the Web2.0 environment. Through the discussion of the characteristic and application of the related Web2.0 technology, then make further analysis of the feasibility that building subject service system under the Web2.0 environment. Based on which, constructed the university library subject service system, pointing out the structure, function and related pattern of the system in detail at last.4. Made some analysis and research of the related mechanism to guarantee the effective smooth movement of this system. Proposed the corresponding mechanism to guarantee the effective smooth movement of this system. The concept that the university library subject service system put forward above has enriched and expanded the content of the subject service theory, and also has some theoretical significance to the practice of subject service.
