The Kashin-Beck disease is an endemic disease which can cause a great harm. It usually takes place among the children and the young people. The pathology of the Kashin-Beck disease is the deformation and putrescence of the cartilage in joint and epiphyseal plate. The resulet of the Kashin-Beck disease is the thicken and pain of joint and furthermore, the nanosoma the deformation and physical disability. It would extremely effect the person’s life. In the area of high incidence, the local economy and production were destroyed. So it brings the poverty. The mechanism of the Kashin-Beck disease was not fully solved. Many researchers from worldwide institutions carried out a lot of studies and experiments. So far, there were four main theories that may cause the disease:(1) biogeochemical hypothesis;(2) hypothesis of cereal contamination by myco-toxin-producing fungi;(3) hypothesis of high humicacid levels in the drinking water;(4) the virus in less selenium. But these theories were not fully and completely surported by the experiments. With the development of science technology and theory, this problem could be solved finally. This analysis by synthesis based on the investigation and concluded the following:(1) The village where Kaschin-Beck disease was serious was located in mesophorbium including carinate、Ridging hillock shape or cleuch source.(2) Kaschin-Beck disease was serious in upland, generally, high altitude cold weather village than in low-altitude illness is obviously high.(3) Kaschin-Beck disease was more serious in metamorphic sand-slate district.(4) In most areas, lesion hydroposia was rivers and streams, in few areas, lesion hydroposia was spring and shallow well.(5) In infected patch, the indices (Total dissolved solids、Total hardness、 Alkalinity、K+、Na+、Ca2+、Mg2+、Cl-、SO42-、HCO3-) of ditchwater、well water was lower, higher than Mingjiang River; the lesion fountainous indices was higher, but sodium Viscosity of part fountain was higher.(6) In infected patch, humic acid was differ from the areas which Kaschin-Beck disease was lighter or not; in fountain lesion, fluoride Viscosity was higher. According to the relativistic statistics about the sickness rate, humic acid and fluoride, the sickness rate and humic acid was interrelated, moreover, the sickness rate and fluoride have got corking logarithm relation.
