On the basis of collecting and reading a large number of research achievement and data about the project, this paper tests a series of active fault of neotectonic movement by means of analyzing and interpreting remote sensing images (ETM+) of Huainan areas and combining achievements and field researches, especially making field investigation for Minglongshan-Shangyao fault more carefully. This paper gets the conclusion that Minglongshan fault is impacted by the integrated action of tectonic extruding events in two periods and tension in one period. As a result of it, it considers tensile stress is the leading stress of the Minglongshan fault movement in the last period and that is in line with the whole activity in the same period of Huainan areas. In this period, much more fault movements make geological structure of local area complicating and make affects of coal mining carrying on environment be serious. With analyzing the environment state of Huainan coal mining gathering areas, including land collapse, cracks and so on, this paper further debates the question that neotectonic movement impacting environmental geological problems of mining gob areas and finally comes up with security of environmental geological disasters of the research area.
