The Gaosongshan gold deposit is located in the transitional zone of Yichun-Yanshougeosynclinal folded system in the Lesser Xing’an Range-Inner Mongolia geosyncline foldedbelt and the Jiamusi uplift in Xingkai-Jiamusi-Bulieya terrain, near transitional zone of theWuyun-Jieya faulted-subside zone in Lesser Xing’an Range-Songnen Massif and theWuxing-Guansongzhen uplift belt in the Yichun-Yanshou geosynclinal folded system. theMesozoic tectono-magmatic activity was very fierce in this region, and mineralizing conditionis favorable.The exposed strata in region are mainly Proterozoic, Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoicstrata. The structure is a very development in this region. Combined with remote sensing imageinterpretation, there are five directions structures which are EW, SN,NE,NW and NNEdirection, and.According to the time order, they are NW, SN, NE, NW and NNE. Proterozoic,Magmatic rocks of the early Cambrian, late ordovician, late carboniferous and late Triassic aredeveloped, granitoid intrusions and Mesozoic volcanic rocks are very development. Mesozoicvolcanics-subvolcanics and hypabyssal-ultrahypabyssal granitoid intrusions had close relationwith gold metallization.The gold mine is the main minerals in this region, the major types include Porphyritictype(Tuanjiegou, Zhangsangou), volcano-subvolcano hydrothermal type (Dongan,Gaosongshan, Fuqiang) and post magmatic hydrothermal type (Pingdingshan). Quite a fewplacer gold deposits have been found recently, such as the Meifenglinchang, Xiaoyuhe andJiayinhe et al. Moreover, other type of deposits have been found, such as Gaoshongshanmolybdenum deposit, Fuminglinchang coal mines, Wuyun brown coal mine and Agenhe agatedeposit et al.The exposed strata in Gaosongshan gold deposit are mainly Cretaceous Baizilouformation, Liyuancun formation, and Quaternary. veins of Gaosongshan gold deposit arelocated in Mesozoic cretaceous volcanic rocks, and have a close relationship with dacite, andesite, andesitic porphyrite. It has a genetic relationship with volcanism. Gold-bearinggeologic body include breccia, net vein, banded type. Gold abundance of ore bearing volcanicrocks is very high, and is2-3times of crustal abundance. During late magmatic activity, highgold abundance of volcanic series is Is conducive to metallogenic. Volcanic association relatedto gold mineralization is themarshall-dacite-rhyolite combination. Structure is dominated byfracture, and space distribution and fracture structure have close relation in Gaosongshan golddeposit. Its orebody lies in NWW, NEE and EW fault-fracture zone,and it is obviously takecontrol of the fault-fracture zone.The NWW, NEE and EW fracture is the prospecting marks,and it provide a good basis to next prospecting. The Intrusive rock is not well developed in thisregion.The wall-rock alterations are well developed in the mining area, such as silication,carbonation, chloritization, epidotization and kaolinization. Silication is closely related tomineralization. And it is one of the main prospecting marks in Gaosongshan gold deposit.According to the geochemical survey results, highworth background areas of gold aregenerally a NNE direction, strengthen in cross site, and from a high strength and largescaleanomaly group. The distribution of highworth area is consistent with strike of hoststructure, and coincide well with trike of host structure. So geochemical prospecting method iseffective. Combining mineral occurrence and anomaly results, studing on regionalmetallogenic regularitywe, we carried out metallogenetic prognosis, delineated metallogeneticprospective provinces, synthetically evaluated mineral resource potential in this region andsubmittied two mineral producing areas.
