Thus many electronic manufacturers are starting to adopt VMI inventory management strategy.VMI inventory management model is a brand new method for the electronic manufacturing industry. The thesis will focus on raw materials VMI inventory management model, one of the key aspects of VMI inventory management. The thesis’s research will consist of three parts: First, analyze the status of M company’s implementation of VMI inventory Management strategy, and summarize the current VMI inventory management problems and analyzed the reasons for such problems; Secondly, against the M company’s actual situation, put forward a new supplier replenishment strategies and M company expected to pull strategy proposed by the supplier of replenishment strategies must be built on both sides on the basis of full consultation, after a full and rational calculation.The optimum replenishment strategies, but also put forward the M company expected to pull in the prior-pronged set of checks is expected to carry out JIT expected to pull the program; Finally, verify the new strategy is suitable for M company’s inventory management strategy by the implementation of the new VMI inventory strategy.Through the research and analysis of M company’s VMI inventory management model, this paper will understand the M company’s inventory management problems, and propose the corresponding optimization program, which can prove to be effective after M company’s practice.
