In this paper, mainly study on the application of AERMOD model in atmospheric environment prediction system. AtmosPheric environmental impact forecasting is the main component of Environmental impact assessment system. Using the quantification model prediction results contribute to the visual modelling and understanding of atmospheric pollutant emissions on air quality impact. Combined Prediction scheme of multi parameter combination model, draw the prediction results under the two-dimensional plane system, Contribute to propose targeted measures for prevention and control of pollution in the follow-up of the environmental impact assessment process. Providing referenced basis for the construction project, the environment tolerance and environmental management, to achieve social, economic and environmental benefits.According to our country current published" Technical Guidelines for environmental impact assessment of atmospheric environment" ( HJ2.2-2008 ), The AERMOD model is widely used in atmospheric prediction model, but the forecast model have higher requirements on spatial topography and climate weather data, the corresponding parameter setting is complicated, unreasonable or not conform to the actual situation of topography of meteorological parameters setting will lead to the final prediction deviation, directly affect the overall environmental forecast conclusion credibility and environmental protection and management pertinence in the real atmospheric environmental impact prediction process.In this paper, first analysing forecasting model principle and system architecture in the AERMOD air prediction mode,pointed out the forecast area of terrain, weather and pollutants transformation characteristic parameters have greater impact on the final prediction results, analysis of various parameters on the maximum ground concentration calculation results of sensitivity and trend correlation.According to AERMET meteorological processing module and AERMAP terrain data processing module parameters analysis, visual analysis of meteorological data in AERMET module introduced to the geographical characteristics and topographic parameters on follow-up predicted result influence, pointed out the AERMAP module terrain data and predicted range projection fitting helps to achieve the pollution sources and the prediction precise point positioning.Analysis of city model, pollutant half-life and chemical conversion to forecasts results, show the spatial concentration distribution of pollutants and the extent of influence with examples. In this paper,a gas-fired cogeneration project air impact forecasting as a case study, shows the atmospheric prediction scenarios, prediction grid point set and the corresponding terrain and meteorological parameters, from the scientific, engineering, operation and other aspects to consider, put forward the problem paid attention to and the techniques and methods of parameter selection in practical prediction work.In this paper, the characteristic parameters impact on the air forecasting results are discussed, combined with case study, can provide reference for atmosphere evaluation research and practice, ideas and inspiration for further atmospheric impact assessment work.
