800MN forging hydraulic press is mainly used to produce metal forgings such as avariety of steel with low plasticity and high strength、heat-resistant steel、carbon steel、low-alloy steel and so on. It’s a basic equipment for the production of large-scaleforging parts in the fields of aviation、ships、aerospace、weapons、power and nuclearindustry. Also, the forging hydraulic press is necessary and irreplaceable for thedevelopment of large-scale military equipment and other large-scale equipment.Themain drive system of800MN die forging hydraulic press is a complexelectromechanical coupling system. The coupling relationship among the parameters isvery complex. Therefore,research and analysis on the stability、rapidity、accuracy andthe sync correction system of the main drive system is very important. Uses the maindrive system and the control system as research objects and focuses on the controlprinciple of the main drive system、the dynamic response characteristic of the activitiesbeam and the synchronous control strategies.Countering the mechanical structure and the technological actions of the800MNdie forging hydraulic press, this paper designed the hydraulic circuit of the main drivesystem systematically. Established the mathematical models including the servo positioncontrol model of the main cylinder and working-cylinder sync correction system modelof the main drive system. Simulated and corrected the servo position control system ofthe working-cylinder under MATLAB-SISO Design Tool platform. The simulationimproved the response speed and stability of the single cylinder system. Then usedSimulink to analyze the building pressure of the corrected system’s working-cylinder.Input the time, load, speed of the beam, obtained the dynamic process which used theangle of vertical deflection of beam around the working cylinder center diagonal asoutput.From the simulation results we can see that the main drive system of800MNforging hydraulic press has good position control characteristics and sync correctionaccuracy. The simulation results verify the rationality of the main drive system’sdesignation and control scheme, which provide a theoretical basis for the design of themain drive system of the forging hydraulic press and a reference for the hydraulicpress’s installation or debugging. This shows that the study and simulation on the maindrive system of forging hydraulic press has important theoretical value and practical engineering significance for the improvement of the main drive system’s positioncontrolling and sync correction.
