With the development of computer information technology and its application inwelding industry, researches on the digital technology, systematic, networking of arcwelding power source have become a trend. Design and research on the digital arcwelding inverter power supply have made remarkable achievements. Some newcontrol method and innovative design concepts have came into being. This studypresents a network CAD system, and explores its application in the designing processof the digital inverter power supply.This study proposed a networking parameter design CAD system technologybased on the induction and summarization of arc welding inverter power supply maincircuit design method, and discussed the selection and design of the scheme in detail,and the core technology of the method is stated. With this technology, users can obtaindesign parameter of the main circuit components and the recommended selectionwhich meet the requirements of the users. This system combined network technologyand CAD technology. It is suitable for TIG welding inverter power supply andprovides intelligent and simple platform for various welding inverter circuit design.The study designed a ARM-based digital control system on the basis of originalDC pulsed TIG welding machine main circuit. The study realize the hardware circuitdesign of control system, the design and production of PCB, and the design andcompiling of C language software program. The system achieved the accuracy controlof each stage of the complete TIG welding process via software and hardwareprotection, welding current closed-loop control programmes and sequential control andso on. In the study, a method of complementary advantages Bang-Bang+PI combinedwas applied to achieve the sliding model variable structure control of PWM pulsewidth. Software offline debugging and the whole control system commissioning werecarried out to validate design functions, and it remains to be validated by actual production application, then the control design scheme of the system can be released tothe CAD system for customers to choose.
