The total temperature fields and Local stress fields of the GSC which use thetechnology of Energy-efficient technology of fluidized roasting are studied in this paperand the temperature and thermal stress distributions in the calcinator are specialised.The Elastic Modulus and Poisson’s Ratios were determined through pulseexcitation method. And used the measuring production temperatures to get thecomprehensive simulation involving the temperature fields and Local stress fields weredone by using the Abaqus analysis software.The temperature distribution map of the master roaster PO4shows that: It is veryuniform alonging the radial direction, and the high temperature zones only exist at thepallet because the heat outward transferred through pallet caused by the higher thermalconductivity. In addition, Thermal-structure coupled stress field analysis gives thatstress only focuses on the shrinkages of rib plates, hoop beams and channels. and it issmall on the shell surface. This is easy to cause the channel in the mouth because ofshrinking lined with stress and fall off. Pouring material can be used instead ofrefractory bricks in the channel place and increase seam expansion to reduce stress.The simulation results of the temperature field and stress field for PO3(DeputyFurnace) is similar to PO4. The significant waves also appear in the transition zonebecause of Lowed position in addition to the pallets, and the stress mainly focuses onpallets, vertebral body supports and channels.
