Automatic flow balancing valve can automaticly control complex intercepting surfaceflow area and ensure constant flow output, which Helps to improve the performance of watersupply system,and widely used in the agricultural, industrial and daily life.The paper use the500WNd: YAG laser multifunction processing machine for deep researching and analyzing ofthe end cap working surface cladding processing technology through the analysis of lasercladding technology in balance valve end run in surface hardening characteristics. Details areas follows:(1)A suitable clamping tooling is designed which is used very quickly and easily,according to the concrete structure and characteristics of the automatic balancing valveover-current side, which thus greatly improve the efficiency, and especially has practical valuefor high-volume laser end cap cladding.(2)The features of laser cladding balancing valve are analyzed, and the technologyprocess of laser cladding for end cap is formulated. It mainly includes the following aspects:1)Laser scan path is analyzed and determined. Three process path of laser cladding onend cap are designed, such as dot-matrix, grid type and helical type. By analyzing theirstrengths and weaknesses, find the advantages of helical scan path are more prominent andconducive to the study of laser cladding on end cap.2) The material of laser cladding is selected and prepared. By analyzing theperformance of a variety of cladding materials, nickel-based alloy material is chose for lasercladding experiment of end cap.3) The pre-type coating method is selected as laser cladding process,and experimentalprogram of laser cladding on end cap is designed.(3)The impacting rules of factors such as output current, scanning speed, pulse width,pulse frequency, auxiliary gas pressure, and the amount of defocus on end cap cladding areanalyzed in detail by taking the cladding surface hardness, case depth and width as theevaluating standards and the best experiment cutting parameters of each single factor forcladding have been gotten.(4)After the end of the cladding, Wear resistance experimental data is analyzed, and it is10.4times the original, The impacts on dilution rate by factors such as Output current, scanspeed and the amount of defocus are analyzed.(5)The mathematical model based on hardness, case depth and width of cladding layeris established by the orthogonal experiment, and its reliability has been verified.
