With the development of science and technology, such as electronics, household appliances, automobile, building and so on, more and more people demand the stainless steel cold rolling strip, which makes the position of the stainless steel production in national economic development increasing gradually. The strip temperature in cold tandem rolling is an important factor on the influence of the quality in stainless steel, therefore, the research about the strip temperature also become more important. Main contents are as follows:First of all, according to the application of practical production in a steel stainless steel and considering to the strip elastic deformation, the rolling force will be precisely calculated by a mixed friction model and length is calculated by solving nonlinear equations. Meanwhile the deformation heat and friction heat will be founded. According to the actual parameters, we make the analysis for the influence factors of strip temperature in stainless steel cold tandem rolling, and analyze the influence of strip temperature, such as the friction coefficient, tension, deformation resistance.Secondly, in the research of stainless steel strip steel frame tandem cold rolling mill, we base on W.L.Roberts’s model, and make the emulsion heat coefficient as a variable, and calculate strip on the frame temperature changes by using the method of discrete. Meanwhile, we make a quantitative analysis about influence factors of the strip temperature in cold rolling process, and draw the influence law figure. In order to control the temperature, the optimization of reduction will be used in the strip temperature control system, which meets the production requirements.Thirdly, according to judgment conditions of heat-streaks, the probability of heat-streaks will be calculated. And we also make an analysis about influence factors of heat-streaks.Finally, in the MATLAB environment we develop a set of forecast model of stainless steel strip temperature in cold tandem rolling process. The software has completed the calculation of the temperature, improved to control the surface quality and flatness of the strip, obtained guiding effect.
