In the field of machinery,a large variety of component produces thewelding residual stress. When the welding stress is large enough, it can causeadverse effects on the components,even lead to destructive accidents.thereforetesting and monitoring the welding residual stress is very important. Magneticanisotropy stress testing technology is a nondestructive technique, because itcan realize the nondestructive testing purposes, has aroused attention by thedomestic and foreign experts. But this kind of magnetic technology is a newand high technology in the past decades,there are still many technicalproblemsneed to study.On the basis of absorbing the existing technology,this papermain research the relationship of the magnetic parameters and stress, improvethe magnetic mechanism,research a new nine magnetic sensor through thetheoretical simulation and experiment,and use the nine pole magneticequipment for magnetic mechanism validation and technology improvementexperimental study.Research content is summarized as follows: 1.This paper deduces the linear relationship between principal stressdifference and principal permeability difference, and in the first principalstress direction, electromagnetic signal minimum,while in the second stressdirection, electromagnetic signal maximum.2.Using the finite element software Ansoft simulates and gets the ninesensor model.3.Calibrates the sensitivity coefficient for different materials thoughone-way and two-way loading.Experiments show that bidrectional stresscalibration results are more rigorous than unidirectional calibration results,andsuggestes that in-depth study the biaxial stress calibration technology.4.Using the nine pole magnetic equipment measures the16MnR circularwelding plate,16MnR flat,X60pipe weld seam,and compare the results to twopole magnetic equipment results and X raydetection results,both agreewell,that supports that the magnetic equipment magnetic mechanism iscorrect,and lay a good foundation for the magnetic anisotropy detectiontechnology applying to engineering practice early.
