Lian Yuan steel hot rolling factory’s soaking pit burn the gas mixture of blast furnace gas with coke-oven gas. The steel business enterprise produces great quantities converter-oven gas in the production of steel making and recovery of the converter gas can not reach the desire of enterprise. In order to ensure safer operation and recycle converter gas, save energy, lower costs and reduce environmental impact, it’s necessary to make technical modifications for the technique reform in the Lian Yuan steel hot rolling factory’s soaking pit from burnin the gas mixture of blast furnace gas with coke-oven gas to burning converter-oven gas and coke-oven gas mixture.Compared with converter-oven gas and coke-oven gas mixture, the gas mixture of blast furnace-coke-oven gas has a different characteristic of the fuel characteristic and combustion characteristic. So it exist bigger difference in burnable organization, smoke tolerance size, disposing face subjected to hot etc. From burning characteristic of converter-oven gas and coke-oven gas mixture to set out, this paper studied systematically burnable stability of mixture to burn in boiler, easy explosion of converter-oven gas and coke-oven gas mixture, the temperature over the mark in the face subjected to hot, the temperature higher of exhausting gas, fly ash containing amount of carbon etc. technique problem and thinking way of resolve, It also researehes the mixed combustion proeess of hot coal gas and preheats combustion-supporting air by utilizing the left heat of fume from industrial furnace as to improve the theoretical combustion temperature of hot coal gas. It could intensify and control the hot coal gas to have stable combustion by regulating the physical mixed proeess of hot coal gas and combustion-supporting air. The summary present the basic way of thinking and method for gas-fired boiler to reform.The basis for realizing the optimizing control of soaking pits is combustion control, the key of which is to control the ratio of air to fuel. According to technological process of the Lian Yuan steel factory heating stove, this paper analyses many factors affecting the ratio in details, comprehensive the advantage of PID control and fuzzy control, explains the whole design process of automatic control system in detail. The pratice prove the control system response is quick and overshoot is small and no steady-state error.The usage above-mentioned basic way of thinking and method, we carried on the technique reform in the Lian Yuan steel hot rolling factory’s soaking pit from burnin the gas mixture of blast furnace gas with coke-oven gas to burning converter-oven gas and coke-oven gas mixture. from circulate of circumstance after reformation to see, that engineering obtained better result of circulate and energy conservation.It is testified by Practice that this article bring about reformation and basic way of thinking and method which solved the technique problem of burning converter-oven gas and coke-oven gas mixture. It is a good reference to instruct the reformation and bronght defliciency in economic.
