The saddle-shaped seam welding has always been the focus of the reaserch on curveswelding,which has been wildly used in industrial manufacture.Medium and small numericalcontrol(NC) machine have a large proportion in our country,so the development of weldingNC system has a broad prospect.Based on the structure of “PC+NC control card”,A weldingmotion control system is developed,and a interpolation algorithm for saddle-shaped curve isproposed.First,the thesis analyzes the current situation of the welding automation system,andreasearches on the basic principle,structure components and control parameters.It analyzes thecharacteristics of the motion control technology and puts forward requests according to thetraits of welding motion control system.Second,on the basis of the PMAC and industrial PC,aoverall plan for the welding NC system is designed according to “PC+NC” mode.Thehardware system includes control module,servo module,mechanical drive module anddetection.In the software system,the servo system based on the PID control is debugged and ahuman-computer interface is developed.Third,the thesis analyzes the four-axis linkage processof the saddle-shaped seam,expounds the use of each axis,and sets up a mathematicalmodel.The change of the angle of welding plays a crucial role in the machining precision inthe welding process. Depending on the rotation angle of workpiece,a curve interpolationalgorithm which is based on linear velocity control is proposed.This algorithm has a hightrajectoy and can realizes the control of processing speed.Finally,author makes a conclusionof this thesis,and gives an outlook on future work.
