With unceasing development of the oil industry and unceasing reduction of oilreserves in the earth, the depth of oil drilling is increasing gradually.The high temperatureand high pressure environment influence Directly the performance of the lithium batterywhich provides the power. So the development of downhole mud turbine generatingsystem which replaces lithium battery is very important. The essential part of system is theturbine. The performance of turbine influences the generating whole system performancedirectly. to improve the working efficiency of the downhole mud turbine generatingsystem, this paper on the basis of analysing relational theories and the domestic andforeign papers, has carried on the optimal design and matching research to the turbine ofthe downhole mud turbine generating system.The downhole mud turbine is one kind of impeller machinery, now the curve bladesand the wing blades are applied widespread on the impeller machinery. The uses of thecurve blades and the wing blades can enhance hydraulic performance of the impellermachinery. On the basis of these theories, this paper begins to study and contains thefollowing several aspects.First, according to the design paremeter, on the basis of the impeller machine designtheory, the commonly used arc straight blades turbine is designed and the flow analysis iscarride on to the turbine. The corrective measures are proposed.Then, in the arc straight blades’ foundation, the straight blades are changed to thecurved forward blade, the wing blade and the wing section+curved forward blade.Thenthe numerical simulation computation is carries on each turbine model.The changes ofturbines hydraulic performance are analysed contrastively around the improvement andthe best improvement program is found out.Finally, in view of variable working condition in the well drilling process, thedifferent stationary guide vanes and turbine runners are designed. as well as applicablescope of the different matching plans are defined. And under variable working condition,the influence of the turbines performance is analysed after guide vanes and turbine runnersare matched.
