The deformation of integral bed is the key factor which affects precision of the largeCNC machine tools. The problem of the deformation of integral lathe bed is analysed. As aresult We presents a new design method that is different conventional one. The method is splitstructure. At same times the paper proposes the concept of geometry deformation andprocess deformation. The split structure of Large gantry-type milling machine’s beamstructure and establish stiffness of the theoretical model calculation is designed. Through theanalysis and calculation theory, it prove that the stiffness of split structure is similar to theintegral one if the split structure is connected with right methods. However the splitstructure has many advantages, such as small volume in single block, geometry deformationand process deformation and so on.It’s easy to obtain the high stiffness in traditional design method of integral beamstructure. The effect of eliminating the internal stress in exiting technical methods is less thanthe small volume of split structure. as time goes on, the deformation of integral beamstructure becomes the key factors which affect the precision of the large CNC machine tools.The manufacturability of split structure is not worse than the integral one. It is easy toeliminating the internal stress and keep the precision sustained.The main content of the dissertation is as follows: we establish3D model of splitstructure and integral structure. The stiffness is analysed. The result proved that split structurecould replace the integral one after Comprehensive comparison in four types of beamsinterface The connection of split structure is attachment bolt with certain preload. By studyingthe relationship between the bolt and the stiffness of the section connection. The mathematicmodel is proposed. This research has a important guiding sense to the actual production. Weanalyse the difference between split structure and integral structure, and the result indicatessplit structure has advantage in geometric deformation. The modal of beam is analysed byANSYS Workbench. The aseismicity of split structure is really close to the integral one afterwe study the first6inherent frequency and vibration modal of split structure and integralstructure. We discuss advantages of split structure in manufacturability. The feasibility ofprocess is put forward in actual production.
