Nesquehonite whisker is through the low temperature hot water in the synthesis of single fiber shape, the high ratio of new materials in the field concerned. Because of high purity, nesquehonite whisker can be used in the preparation of high purity magnesia, magnesium hydroxide, alkali type magnesium carbonate, magnesium sulfate, nitric acid magnesium and fine magnesium salt chemical products; Because of low temperature pyrolysis, nesquehonite whisker as preparation magnesium oxide whisker precursors drawn people attention; Because of its good mechanics, physical and chemical properties, nesquehonite whisker is widely used in mechanical, electronic, automobile, metallurgy, plastic, ceramic, rubber,coating, ink and other industrial areas, especially add in national defense, aerospace, advanced weapons and equipment system of the key materials. Because nesquehonite whisker low production cost and extensive use, preparation mild conditions, will become the boric acid magnesium whisker again after a great development potential of magnesium salt whisker products.Papers to the salt and magnesium ammonium bicarbonate as raw materials, low-temperature aqueous solution method for synthesis of nesquehonite whisker. By single factor experiment, get the best test conditions for:magnesium salt types for magnesium sulfate, reaction temperature for50℃, the concentration of the reaction is0.5mol/L, and the reaction time for60min, reaction system pH9.5, stirring speed for120rpm, magnesium sulfate solution speeding rate drops for4ml/min, surface active agent for the potassium dihydrogen phosphate, add the content is1.3%; Through orthogonal test that the primary and secondary factors of impact pH, reaction temperature, reaction time, surface active agent is added. Through the hydration and TG experiment, draw nesquehonite whisker in normal temperature not easy hydration, its thermal weightlessness is divided into two stages, with the first stage for90℃~213℃, weightlessness38.4%, for gesso, the second stage for213℃~618℃, weightlessness32.9%, for carbon dioxide.Our country has the rich magnesium salt resource, the research result of the thesis will greatly improve our country magnesium salt added value of products, to speed up the development of magnesium industry in our country.
