Coastal wetland ecosystem plays an important role in marine economy, production safety and living security. With the expansion of population, pollution of environment and shortage of resources, the use of wetland resources is more and more prominent. Quantitative analysis of ecological risk factors, construction of assessment model and research of assessment framework are hot issues concerned by all over the world. Various countries pay more and more attention to environmental protection. Therefore, in order to meet the ecological management requirements of wetland, we choose Shuangtaizi estuarine and coastal wetland as the research object and carry out the analysis and evaluation for the theory of ecological risk assessment as well as estuarine and coastal wetland ecological risk.Shuangtaizi estuarine and coastal wetland Liaohe River Delta in Panjin city is one of the world’s most important wetland resources. In this area, there are various of wild fauna and flora include Larus saundersi which is even rare to the world; there are aboundant halons resources which makes it very fit for salt production; Liaohe oilfield base which is the third largest oilfield in China is also located here. Since reform and opening up, at the same time with the rapid development of marine economy of Panjin city, the wetland here has been influenced by us human more and more greatly such as the development of large area of farmland and oil field and reeds base atrophy. In order to protect the valuable wetland resource and provide a scientific basis for managers, we write this paper for the ecological risk assessment of Shuangtaizi estuarine and costal wetland in Panjin city.In this paper, depending on the survey data, we do research of Shuangtaizi estuarine ecosystem monitoring data work. From normal theory of ERA, based on the "Press-State-Response" model which is internationally popular, combined with estuarine ecological characteristics, we make systematic study of estuarine and coastal wetland ecological risk assessment and select the indicators for ERA. In view of comprehensive consideration, we establish the risk level of ERA and scientifically evaluate the ecological risk in the two years of2006and2011by the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.Through the analysis, the result shows that the risk level of2006is middle-risk level and of2011is low-risk level. Depending on the results, we propose specific suggestions of protection and management for both exploitation and utilization of wetland resources and technical support for marine administrative department.
