Along with the rapid growth of China’s rapid economic growth, the auto industry and the automotive consumer market are on the booming trend at a rapid pace. In2002China’s auto market has been undergoing a flowing well type of development, and in2009it has become the world’s first production and sales market. As is expected in the next ten years, China’s auto demand will maintain increases at a10%-15%speeds. The rapid increase in auto production and sales demand will inevitably lead to the continued growth of scrapping of old car. Nowadays, the shortage of resources is making the environmental pollution cases increasing and due to this situation the reverse logistics and recycling of scrapped automobiles by academic circles at home and abroad are in the strong concern of the enterprise. At present, some Europe, the United States and other developed countries have formed a complete system for end-of-life vehicle recycling from the legislative to the recycling process. However, the automotive recycling industry appears more problems, such as more stray, the irrational layout of industry and the lack of order.In view of this, borrowing from the automotive recycling experience the paper develops the research on scrap car recycling network based on the reverse logistics theory. This article focuses on the automotive recycling center location problem which is to form a rational distribution, to provide a reference for the development of China’s automotive recycling industry.Firstly, the article studies the end-of-life vehicle recycling system of Europe, the United States and other developed countries as well as China’s automobile reverse logistics analysis to identify the problems of our automotive recycling, By learning from the successful experience of developed countries and China’s basic national conditions and status, the paper builds a car recycling system with our unique reverse logistics by contrast our problem of car recycling with others. Secondly, the paper focuses on the automotive recycling center location problem in the basis of this automobile reverse logistics system and from automotive recycling revenue and cost the research determines the location of the target by a detailed analysis of the impact factors by the principles as well as the location of the automotive recycling center location. The mixed-integer programming is used to build automotive recycling center location model. The Lingo software example is seen in the model validation and solution.At the ends, the paper proposes some suggestion from three angles of the government, enterprises, and consumers according to the specific situation of China’s automobile reverse logistics industry.
