Objective: To research the demographic charaeteristics, pathological types and its variety inglomerular diseases, and to learn the relationship between pathological types and clinicalmanifestation.Method: All of the36379cases were collected from Fuzhou General Hospital of NanjingMilitary Command (including nearly200hospitals’ specimens.) between January1993andDecember2010. All of the cases were conducted by special staining (including HE, PAS,PASM, Masson Staining) examination, some cases with electron microscopy examination.Combined with clinical data, laboratory findings, immune pathology and ultrastructuralchanges characteristics, the demographic characteristics of renal biopsy cases were analysised, including age, gender distribution, and the changes of disease spectrum of primary glomerulardisease and IgA nephropathy patients in National and Fujian province, and to learn therelationship between pathological types and clinical manifestation. Results: In36379glomerular disease patients, there was no gender differences (51.0%malecases), the mean ages were30.53士15.07years older, and the high incidence ages wasbetween18and37years older. Glomerular disease accounted for96.2%of all cases, andprimary glomerular diseases (PGD) accounted for72.5%of all of the glomerular diseases, lupus nephritis (LN) is the most common histological types (41.8%) in secondary glomerulardiseases (SGN). There have been gender and age differences in different IgAN grades.Compared with1993-2000, the incidence of membranous nephropathy (MN) wassignificantly increased in2001-2010(P <0.01).The most common clinical manifestation wasasymptomatic abnormal urinalysis (AUA, account for30.8%). The nephrotic syndrome (NS)was the most common clinical manifestation for MsPGN in PGD, AUA, nephritic syndromeand chronic renal failure were the most common clinical manifestations for IgAN. Conclusions: Young men are also the most common patients for kidney diseases. PGD is thesubject of kidney disease. IgAN is also the most common type in PGD, and the incidence rateof MN has increased. Lupus nephritis (LN) is the most common histological types (41.8%)in secondary glomerular diseases (SGN), AUA is the main clinical manifestation for renaldiseases patients.
