| Objective:To investigate the expression of Fasã€Bcl-2ã€Caspase-3and MMP-9in placenta tissue in patients with severe preeclampsia. To study their relation to the pathogenesis and development of preeclampsia.Methods:Fasã€Bcl-2ã€Caspase-3and MMP-9of placenta were determined by immunohistochemical method and compared between twenty normal late pregnant women(control group) and twenty women with severe preeclampsia (observation group). Results:Different degree expression of Fasã€Bcl-2ã€Caspase-3and MMP-9can be observed in placenta tissue. The expression of Fas and Caspase-3in trophoblast of patient with severe preeclampsia was significantly higher than that in the controls, but Bcl-2and MMP-9of patient with severe preeclampsia was highly lower than that in the controls. Conclusion:The high levels of Fas and Caspase-3and low levels of Bcl-2and MMP-9in placenta may be related to the etiology of preeclampsia. |
