Clinical Research On Fire Needle Under The Theory Of Meridian Sinew In The Treatment Of Upper Limb Muscle Spasticity For Cerebral Infarction Patients

Objective:This study aimed to objectively assess the clinical effect of fire needle under the theory of meridian sinew in treating cerebral infarction patients with upper limb muscle spasticity.Methods:60cases were randomly divided into treatment group(n=30) and control group(n=30), needling traditional points in control group, despite needling traditional points, needling the three meridian sinews of hand-yin with fire needle in treatment group. Both groups were treated for4weeks and every case was evaluated before treatment and4weeks after the beginning of treatment according to Modified Ashworth Scale and Fugl-Meyer Accessment.Results:Modified Ashworth Scale and Fugl-Meyer Accessment had significance in both groups before and after treatment (P<0.05). Modified Ashworth Scale and Fugl-Meyer Accessment were significant between treatment group and control group after treatment(P<0.05), treatment group was better than control group.Conelus ion:Fire needle under the meridian sinew theory can reduce upper limb muscle spasticity and improve upper limb function, what’s more, fire needle is convenient and don’t have to keep the needle staying, it worths populizing.
