Objective:In order to observe the clinical effect on treating migraine of hyperactivity of liver-yang by the approach of acupuncture and innovative tianma gouteng decoction(TGD).Methods:Randomly divide the60patients who meet the inclusion crite-rio into two groups which have30cases each other.The experimental group not only introduce the approach of acupuncture but also receive the innovative TGD at the same time. The process of treatment which is needling the pionts of Baihui, Taiyang, Shuaigu, Xuanlun, Fengchi, Taichong, Taixi, and Ashi, will last30minutes conducted twice a day.There are six days of continual im-plementation of acupuncture and one day relax in one entire duration. Mean-while, take the innovative TGD150ml, twice a day in the morning after break-fast and at night before dinner seperately everyday during the week. Patients who is in the control group only obtain the cure of TGD. Analysis the results that is the comparision of the data between the two groups related to the fre-quency of headache,the scale of the pain,the continuous pain time each time, the index of migraine and the changes of TCM syndrome after two courses of treatment.Rresults:1There are statistically significant meanings(P<0.05)of the data which is mentioned above over the comparision of the two groups themselves separate-ly after the treatment.2There are statistically significant meanings(P<0.05)of the data which is mentioned above over the comparision of the two groups mutually with each other after the treatment.3There are statistically significant meanings(P<0.05)about the the total efficiency of the treatment group which is96.67%, whilst83.33% in the con-trol group.Conclusion:1The approach of integrated acupuncture and innovative TGD in treating migraine is ramarkably effective and reliable as well as the control group.2The approach of integrated acupuncture and innovative TGD in improv-ing the index of migraine and getting rid of the TCM syndrome are obviously better than that of TGD only.3The total efficiency of the treatment group that is96.67% is dramatical-ly higher than that of the control group which is83.33%.
