Objective:The serum pharmacochemistry of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) combined with chromatographic technique were used to analysis the migrated compounds in rats serum after gastrogavagae the decotion of Phellodendron chinense Schneid. The medicate serum was detected by HPLC, in order to discover the form and number of these compounds which might have a direct interaction with the body.when Phellodendron chinense Schneid decotion was given,we should know which compounds were in function. Methods:High Performance Liquid Chromatographic analysis method h-ad been used to compare the differencesin chromatograms,to declare the absorbed in the blood serum and eduction in the urine. comprehensively evaluate effective substances basis in vivo of Phellodendron chinense S-chneid.Results:1. We did character identification, micro-identification, physical chemistry identification, and lamellar identification were combined with HPLC fingerprints which determined the content of the main compounds at the same time.2. The preparation methods of medicated serum of rats of the Phellodendron chinense Schneid was determined, and the fingerprints of the serum contained was established. We initially confirm the compounds a bsorbed in the blood serum and eduction in the urine after given Phell-odendron chinense Schneid.Conclutions:1. The quality evaluation system of Phellodendron chinense Schneid was established by character identification, micro-identification, physical-chemistry identification, and lamellar identification that were combined with HPLC fingerprints which determined the content of the main compounds at the same time.2.. The research shows that there were16different compounds in the Phellodendron chinense Schneid decotion which could be absorbed by rats,8of them were prototype and the other8were metabolite products.3..13compounds were detected in the urine and8of them performed the same as those in the blood, with the same resertative time and absorbance optical spectrum. These8compounds were considered as the same compounds as those in the blood serum.
