Fresh Euphorbia esula Linn. and the dried seeds of Euphorbia fischeriana Steud. wereextracted in pure ethanol. Then it was extracted with hexane, ethyl acetate and n-butanol,respectively, to obtain the corresponding extracts. The various extracts were separated usingof separation technology, such as column chromatography, HPLC, recrystallization, thus weget20compounds from the extracts of Euphorbia fischeriana Steud. and Euphorbia esulaLinn. Their structures were identified by1H NMR and13C NMR spectral properties,combined with the literature, they were glyceol trioleate (1),1,3-linoleic acid glycerides (2),ethyl linoleate (3), glycerol linoleate (4),1,2-linolenic acid glycerides (5), hexacosyl alcohol(6), n-triacontanol (7), cluytylalcohol (8), stigmasterol (9),-sitosterol (10),3-hydroxyl-cycioartane-25-ene (11),(2R,3R,4S,5R,7S,8R,9S,11R,12S,13R,15R)-2,3,5,8,9,15-hexaacetoxy-11,12-epoxy-7-(isobutanoyloxy)-jatroph-6(17)-en-14-one (12),-sitosterol-glucopyranoside (13), kaempferol-7-O--D-glueopyraneoside (14), quercetin-7-O--D-glucopyranoside (15), Twenty-four alkyl alcohol (16), Scopoletin (17), queretin-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyside (18), kaempferol-3-O--D-glueopyraneoside (19), kaenpferol-3-O-(6’’-O-nutgallacyl)--D-glucopyranoside (20). Compound9,11were the first time isolated fromthis plant. The main constituents of the seeds of Euphorbia fischeriana Steud. extract istriglyceride compounds. Accounts for86.34%of the weight of hexane extracts weight, and2.27%in the seeds of Euphorbia fischeriana Steud. The main ingredient ofhexane extract inEuphorbia esula Linn. is straight-chain alcohols, which accounts for2%of the weighthexane extracts, and0.01%of Euphorbia esula Linn. The main ingredient of ethyl acetateextract in Euphorbia esula Linn. is flavonoids compounds, which accounts for1.55%of theweight ethyl acetate extracts weight, and0.07‰of Euphorbia esula Linn. Tigliane typediterpene were not found in Euphorbia fischeriana Steud. and Euphorbia esula Linn. butJatrophane types diterpene were got in the Euphorbia esula Linn.
