Literature Study On Traditional Chinese Medicine Of Sjogren’s Syndrome

[Objective]:By collecting the documents about treatment of Sjogren’s syndrome with Chinese medicine in recent20years,apply the bibliometrics analysis methods to analyze the syndrome, the symptoms of distribution characteristics and drug law of SS.Then view the syndrome elements as the point of entry and discuss the disease location,pathogeny and pathogenesis of SS, to provide an effective and objective reference data for the qualitative and quantitative treatment of Sjogren’s syndrome with Chinese medicine.[Method]:Establish a database to meet the selection criteria of literature, and then apply the SPSS17.0to analyze the noun and frequency of the syndrome, syndrome elements and symptoms; to analyze the noun and frequency of the names, nature and flavor, the meridian and the effectiveness of Chinese medicine.[Result]:The principal syndrome type of SS are based on syndrome of deficiency of both qi and yin. syndrome of yin deficiency of liver and kidney.syndrome of yin deficiency of lung and kidney, syndrome of yin deficiency and blood stasis, and syndrome of deficiency of kidney yin.The secondary syndrome type of SS are based on syndrome of dryness and toxin, syndrome of blood stasis, syndrome of heat and toxin and syndrome of phlegm-heat.The syndrome elements about disease location are based on kidney, liver, lungs, spleen; the syndrome elements about pathogeny are based on dryness,toxin, heat, dampness; the syndrome elements about pathogenesis are based on yin deficiency, qi asthenia and blood stasis.The main symptoms of the disease are seen the mouth and pharynx dry, eyes Shibuya and fatigue; the tongue nature is seen red tongue and deep red tongue and the coating on the tongue is little and dry usually. The main pulse is thready pulse.The property of Chinese medicine about treatment of SS is based on cold; the flavor of it is based on sweet, bitter and pungent. The medicine of channel-tropism distributes mainly lung, liver,stomach and kidney.The kinds of medicine’s efficacy are based on herbs for yin-tonifying and for clearing away heat and cooling blood. The main medicines treated in SS are Ophiopogon,.Rehmannia glutinosa. Scrophularia, honeysuckle, glehnia and liquorice.[Conclusion]:The basic pathogenesis of SS is primary deficiency and secondary excess.The primary deficiency attributes to yin deficiency of kidney, liver, lung and spleen. The secondary excess attributes to dryness and toxin, dampness and heat, blood stasis. The main symptoms, tongue condition and pulse condition of SS reflect the characteristics of asthenia and dryness. The property, flavor, channel-tropism and function of medicine are in conformity with the principles, which are that dryness syndromes should be treated by moistening therapy and that heat syndromes should be treated by cooling therapy. So the treatment should based on the syndrome and apply the method of yin-tonifying and for clearing away heat and cooling blood.
