Research Methods: Selected60cases meetingthe clinic study standard, and divided them into treatment group (30cases) and controlgroup (30cases) randomly. The treatment group was given Banxiaxiexin Decoction andCough Powder. The control group was given Omeprazole Sodium Enteric-coated Capsulesand ASMETON(Compound Methoxyphenamine Capsules) treatment. The courses are for12weeks. The changes of treatment group and control group symptom scores before andafter treatment were observed. Results: Clinical study shows that after treatment thepatients’ symptom scores are lower than before significantly, and the difference wasstatistically significant (P<0.05). Total effective rate for the treatment group is90%, andthat of control group is73.3%, statistically significant different in analysis of p<0.05. Thetreatment of the group of traditional Chinese medicine is safe and has non-toxic sideeffects. Conclusion: Clinically, gastric cough is usually misdiagnosed. Modern medicaldiagnosis is complex, and patients’ compliance is poor. Although anti-reflux treatment ofwestern medicine is quick, it relapses easily. Under the guidance of the theory ofTraditional Chinese Medicine, Xinkaikujiang method is effective for the treatment ofgastric cough; improvement of symptoms and signs in treatment group is obvious than thatof the control group, and it is safe and non-toxic in the process of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
