With the development of telemedicine technology, remote TCM pulsediagnosis has gradually come true. Through the acquisition, transmission, andobjectively reproduction of pulse signal, the real pulse condition of remotepatients can be obtained, which has established a new mode of TCM pulsediagnosis. Pulse diagnosis is the most commonly used methods and theunique experience essence of TCM diagnosis, which can provide significantbasis for the clinical disease diagnosis and treatment.The chief objective of this research is to reproduce the patients’ pulse atthe doctor’s side during the remote pulse diagnosis of TCM. First of all, themajor characteristics of pulse wave signal and its waveform were analyzedfrom the point of view of engineering, then the fitted real pulse wave wereobtained via the waveform simulation of the human pulse wave. On this basis,through the in-depth study of the mathematical model and parameters of thevoice coil motor, a simulated pulse vibrator which can reproduce the actualpulse fluctuations was designed, as well as the corresponding signalprocessing circuit. Meanwhile, a vibration controller based on adaptiveinverse control strategy has been designed in this research. Through thecomparative analysis of the simulation results of several adaptive algorithms,the most suitable one was selected and applied to the pulse simulation device in order to improve its vibration effect. Thus, the overall design of the pulsediagnosis simulation system was completed. Finally, the availability andeffectiveness of the system performance and the control algorithm has beendemonstrated by experiments.All in all, with the support of the designed pulse diagnosis simulationsystem, the approximate real pulse signal can be effectively acquired and thereproduction of human pulse information can be basically achieved.Therefore, this research has laid foundation for the practical application ofTCM remote pulse diagnosis.
