| The microecological balance between the huge amounts of microbial flora in human intestinal tract and host can ensure life activities of host work normally. If this balance is destroyed, human body will be easy to get some related diseases. So keeping this balance is very important to human health. In recent years, researchers pay more attention to the study of intestinal flora, some study suggested that many factors including internal and external factors may play a significant role in the formation and diversity of intestinal flora. These factors must be studied in depth, only in this way can we get some important references for keeping the balance between the intestinal flora and host. This study will discuss the correlation of intestinal flora and human age.In view of some factors such as regionã€diet characteristicã€health and race may effect the diversity of intestinal flora, this study selected30healthy volunteers from Sichuan Province who are in different ages, respectively in infant periodã€young period and mid-age period. In this study we applied some methods such as DGGE and qPCR to study intestinal flora in different ages comparatively. The results showed that the content of intestinal SCFA and TBA are closely related to human age; the diversity of intestinal flora is diverse in different ages, the main different strains are Pseudomonas aeruginosaã€Mycoplasma bovisã€Streptococcus mitis, Escherichia coli and Bifidobacterium pseudocatenulatum; the amount of intestinal dominant microflora is diverse in different ages, for Bifidobacterium, the amount in infant gut is higher than young and mid-age, and higher than other dominant microflora, for Lactobacillus, Atopobium clusterã€Bacteroides group and Clostridium group, the amount in young gut is higher than others, for Desulfovibrio genus and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii, the amount in mid-age gut is higher than others; the intestinal dominant Lactobacillus is L. caseiã€L. acidophilus and L. plantarum, which are same in different ages; the intestinal dominant Bifidobacterium is B. angulatumã€B. infantisã€B. longum and B. breve, which are same in different ages; the diversity of intestinal Lactobacillus is diverse in different ages, the main different strains are Weissella cibariaã€Leuconostoc mesenteroidesã€Lactobacillus salivariusã€Leuconostoc gasicomitatum and Lactobacillus sanfranciscensis; the diversity of intestinal Bifidobacterium is diverse in different ages, the main different strains are Bifidobacterium bifidumã€Bifidobacterium breve and Bifidobacterium adolescentis. In conclusion, the results of this research indicate that the diversity of intestinal flora is closely related to human age. |
