Objective:To observe the effect, the changes of levels of CCK,VIP and Nepean Dyspepsia Index on20eases of Functional Dyspepsia (FD) treated by modifie Shu Wei Decoction.Method:40cases were randomly divided into2groups. The control group were treated by Domperidone Tablets while the study group were treated by Shu Wei Decoction. One curative course was4weeks and both groups were treated for1courses. The level scores of CCK,VIP and NDI scale were filled in at the time point of pre-treatment,post-treatment.Result:1.There was significant difference in NDI score in the two groups before and after treatment (P<0.01) and there was also significant difference in NDI score between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).2.There was significant difference in levels of CCK,VIP in the study group before and after treatment(P<0.01).There was significant difference in levels of CCK in the control group before and after treatment(P<0.05) and there was not significant difference in levels of VIP in the control group before and after treatment (P>0.05).There was significant difference in levels of CCK, VIP between the two groups after treatment(P<0.01).Conclusion:Both modified Shu Wei Decoction and Domperidone Tablets have effect on FD, but modified Shu Wei Decoction is superior to Domperidone Tabletsin improving the levels of CCK,VIP and NDI score.
