Objectives:Collecting the medical treatment on male infertility prescription data as the research sample, using the data mining method for analysis and evaluation, studying the diagn-ositic and therapeutic rules of TCM about Male Infertility.Methods:Through consulting relevant clinical literatures, selections sort out527prescriptions of TCM treatment of male infertility. Data standardized will be built up a prescription library in Access2003, which consists of prescription table, drug table, symptom table. Adopting data mining technology, including frequency statisties, association rules, Two-dimensional Boolean association rules, cluster analysis, which dig out the regulation of Medicine and the rule of Differentiation and Treatment on mammary gland hyperplasia and evaluate analysis on the basis of Chinese medical theory.Results:The prescription library treated male infertility contains342Chinese medicinal materials, which are used6497frequency in total. Though the statistics of36main species medicinal herbs,4499frequency has used in total. The key medicinal herbs contains medlar, dodder, epimedium, cooked rehmannia root, angelica, red raspberry, yam, dogwood, plantain seed, fructus schisandrae, radix astragali, radix bupleuri, which have the effect of tonifying kidney, tonifying spleen, nourishing the blood, invigorating the circulation of blood, clearing damp, sootheing the liver. The above results about basic pathological factors of male infertility are correspond to most of the doctors’views, such as,weak, stagnant, humid, gloomy. This paper in95%of the symptoms of frequency649kinds of main symptoms, a total of1980frequency appeared. The main symptoms including fatigue, soreness of waist and knee, asexuality, dizziness, ringing in the ears, impotence, premature ejaculation, limb cold, less refined and so on, which consistent with the statistical analysis of symptoms and deficiency of the kidney, phlegmatic hygrosis, insufficiency of the spleen,blood stasis and some other pathogenesis. The medicine-sickness connection and prescription-sign relevance also prove the above results at the same time.Conclusions:Clinical medicine for kidney deficiency, blood stasis, spleen deficiency, damp and hot, stagnation of liver-QI, phlegmatic hygrosis and some other pathogenesis of male infertility, which choose the effect of chinese herbal medicines that can tonify the kidney, invigorate the circulation of blood, tonify spleen, clear fire, sooth the liver, clear damp. How to choose medicine should be emphasis on taking into account the specific pathogenesis of reinforcing and reducing use either, with particular attention to the spleen and kidney Tongzhi, liver and kidney and governance.
