Self-acceptance and acceptance of others of junior high schoolStudents is significantly related to the adaptability of inter-personalrelationship, learning cooperation and competition. The importanceof the self-acceptance and acceptance of others is embodied in: (1)lay a foundation of further intimate relationship, and enhance theirresponsibility; (2) help young people cope with the pressure ofadolescence, and enable students to participate in constructiveactivities, enhance self-worth, encourage them to make betterchoices, and result in self subjective well being; (3) improve theattitude of young people to the school life and promote mutualconsistency. Thus, students will have a more positive view of schoollife, when they have high self-esteem and consider that everyone isan independent and valuable individual.The Stair model is an effective tool to improve self-acceptanceand acceptance of others, which has already been widely used inbusiness, school and family therapy, and got favorable effect byempirical studies. Laboratorial researches combined with case study methods were adopted in this research to apply The Satirmodel to intervene the self-acceptance and acceptance of others ofjunior high school students in group.Analyses,discussions andconclusions from the results were also made in these results.This study selected 30 junior high school students divided intoexperimental and control group, using the single-factorexperimental and control group before and after experimentdesigned method. The experiment group was implemented atwo-month experiment study, and control group not. This researchused combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, such asHTP (House-Tree-Person) test, case analysis and etc. to study theapplication of the Satir model on improving self-acceptance andacceptance of others of junior high school students.Conclusion is as follows:(1)The theory of Satir model can effectively improve the selfjunior high school students’self-acceptance.(2)The theory of Satir model can effectively improve the selfjunior high school students’acceptance of others.
