| This is a translation project report on the translation of the fifth and sixthchapters of the Translation and Creativity, co-authored by Manuela Perteghella,Professor in Applied Translation at London Metropolitan University, UK, and EugeniaLoffredo, an Associate Tutor at the University of East Anglia, UK. This is a book,with a comprehensive and systemic introduction to the creative translation, whichdiscusses the relationship between translation and creative writing, and applies therelationship to the theory, teaching and real life, making it a focus. It consists of fourchapters:1) Project Component, consisting of the background of the project,objectives of the project, significance of the project, and layout of the report.2) TheSource Text, consisting of an introduction to the ST author, an introduction to thegeneral information of ST, the contents of ST and comments of ST.3) TranslationDifficulties and Methodologies, including translation preparations, translationdifficulties and translation methodologies in translation by examples.4) Conclusion,including the experience from the project, lessons from the project and limitations ofthe study and prospects for further study. |
