Adverbs of scope as a special subclass of adverb, compare with other adverbshas its particularity. Especially, some scope adverbs are used relatively abundant. It isa relatively complex class in the grammatical function and semantic feature. Themodifier and omnibus limits to the object is not the same. It makes the scope adverbsand other adverbs internal categories in grammatical function and semantic featurehave many difference. Through the investigation and analysis of Vietnamese studentslearning Chinese, I found Vietnamese students cognize and understand the scopeadverbs is not deep enough. Students always make mistakes in using adverbs of scope.In addition, through the actual survey result, and carefully analyzed of collected themost classical error types, I am looking for the error causes.I hope this article canprovide some teaching methods for the Chinese scope adverbs teaching. This thesiscan be divided into four parts:Firstly, the introduction part is talking the reasons and probably introducesituation and results of the scope adverb study in research community.In second, designing of the scope adverbs questionnaire, to investigate theVietnamese students learning Chinese adverbs of scope situation.In third, analyzing the error of the Vietnamese students learning adverbs ofscope.In the process, the most typical types of error: error generation, omission,wrong sequence and add.In fourth, according to the errors which the student often makes, this paper findsout the causes of error, give same teaching methods and suggestions to Vietnamesestudents in learning and teaching.
