The Phonological Study

Shaodong County under the Hunan province Shaoyang City, located in the central Hunan. Shaodong dialect belongs to Xiang dialect Loushao zone. There have been many scholars of the Shaodong dialect are studied, but focus more on the pronunciation, grammar or a kind word inquiry, also does not have a Shaodong dialect vocabulary as a system research.This article take the Shaodong dialect as the research object, using the investigation method, sorting out the Shaodong dialect vocabulary, received a total of nearly five thousand entries, entries received mostly with different words in mandarin. In the vocabulary on the basis of detailed analysis of Shaodong dialect vocabulary, morphology, lexical meaning and etymology, and the vocabulary of Shaodong dialect and the dialect vocabulary in Changsha were compared, summed up the characteristics of Shaodong dialect vocabulary.This paper is mainly divided into four parts:The first part:introduction. Mainly introduced the Shaodong geography, humanities, history and evolution of Shaodong dialect and language usage, research situation and the focus of this research and the significance of the main partner, pronunciation and phonetic system of Shaodong dialect. The second part:Shaodong dialect vocabulary and etymology, semantic analysis. Morphological analysis mainly from the word syllable quantity, morpheme and word collocation mode choice of this three respects; lexical analysis including lexical meaning and grammatical meaning of analysis; etymological analysis includes three categories, one is retained archaic words, two is borrowed words, three is a local characteristic words.Part third:vocabulary of Shaodong dialect and the dialect vocabulary comparison of changsha. By using statistical method, and compared the two dialects common character and difference, and then through quantitative analysis conclusion, two lexical similarity is greater than the difference.The fourth part:Shaodong dialect vocabulary. A list of about five thousand common vocabulary, and has carried on the phonetic and Chinese interpretation. This list though placed last, but it is used as a basis to develop research.
