Supplement And Correction To The Grand Dictionary Of Chinese Language Based On The Words In Doupeng Xianhua

The object of this study is the words in Doupeng Xianhua which are compared,word for word,with the Grand Dictionary of Chinese Language.By doing this,the author is trying his best doing a good job for supplement and correction to the Grand Dictionary of Chinese Language.This paper is composed of five chapters.The first chapter is to provide some information about Doupeng Xianhua and tell us what this paper is for and how to do it.The second chapter is to analyze11words which are used in Doupeng Xianhua but missing out in the Grand Dictionary of Chinese Language.The third chapter is to explain9words which have a specific meaning but neglected by the Grand Dictionary of Chinese Language.The fourth chapter is to put forward some advices for solving136illustration problems in the Grand Dictionary of Chinese Language.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.In this part, the basic views of this paper are presented while the merits and demerits of this paper are analyzed.
