Flying shear machine is an important equipment of the end of the production line of automotive cooling tube, which is used for the longitudinal shear movement aluminum radiating pipe. Cutting aluminum radiating pipe is a dynamic process, flying shear machine does not need to pause. When flying shear machine shears the radiating pipe, the speed of the cutter need to maintain the target speed, which is the speed of synchronization tracking; at the same time, the flying shear machine needs to complete the fixed-length shear radiating pipe, this is the position control. Speed synchronous tracking and position control are interrelated and influence each other. Therefore, the control of the flying shear is a complex motion control problem.In this dissertation, on the basis of domestic and international flying shear control technology development status and trends, author made good use of servo control technology and electric drive knowledge and "HMI+servo controller+servo drive+servo motor" structure have designed servo control system of the radiating pipe flying shears to tackle the problems of the domestic flying shears. By establishing the cutter mathematical models, author have analyzed flying shear production process, planed cutter trajectory and designed a shear control algorithm according to the shear length L.The flying shear servo control system takes SM-Applications Plus as the core controller, and SP inverter as driven device. Real-time feed rate of the radiating pipe and length is measured by the tachometer roller transmitted via a communication cable to a servo controller. Servo controller according to the shear control algorithm to calculate the real-time given speed, the servo controller will sent speed instruction to SP converter, then SP converter control servo motor. The flying shear control system to achieve a double-loop control. Current loop accurately control the motor output torque and speed loop precise control of the motor speed.Through simulation test, the experimental results showed that the design of the servo control system has good speed with characteristics and high precision cutting to length, to meet the requirements of production and technology specifications. The designed control system has the reference for high performance flying shear machine research and development.
