Based On Ihe Xds Research And Implementation Of Regional Health Information Sharing Framework

Medical informationization in China has been given an unprecedenteddevelopment opportunity under the promotion of the new healthcare reform package.Regional health, which is the key point of medical informationization, aims to realizemedical information sharing among the whole region. There are many problems in thedevelopment of regional health platforms in China, for example there is no enoughofficial medical data standard and medical information sharing standard and it isdifficult to collect medical data that distributed in different systems.Based on the Dongguan City regional health information project, the main objectof the paper is to build a regional health information sharing framework that based onIHE XDS profile and HL7CDA standards; meanwhile the technology solution followsthe direction of China’s regional health informationization construction. Firstly, thispaper analyzed the HL7CDA standard and its localization. Secondly analyzed IHEXDS cross-enterprise medical document sharing specification used in the regionalhealth information platform. The actual implementation of the project demonstrates thatthe framework is feasible and effective.In recent years, many provinces and cities in China have been regulating andplanning the regional health information platform pilot work. Compared with thesetechnology solutions, this framework has the following characteristics:1. The use of the localized HL7CDA standardHL7CDA standard has demonstrated usefully in medical information sharing allover the world. However, to make HL7CDA apply to practical situations also requiresfurther works which focus on the development of the localization HL7CDA templatestandard. This paper discusses the fusion method of HL7CDA standards and ChineseEHR and EMR data sets, and applies to the actual regional health information platform.2. The IHE XDS profile applied in the regional health information sharingIHE XDS profile has been successfully applied in the national region healthprograms in United States, Canada and other countries. This paper discusses the particularity of our regional health information platform, and integrates IHE XDSprofile to it.
