According to the survey, the market circulation of shuibaiji is rich in resources in Yunnan province. It is widely used to treat TB cough in local regions. Its clinical efficacy is different from Bleilla striata. There are foreign bodies on the market as the confusion of name. These problems directly affect the usage of drug safety, efficacy and rational utilization of the resource.Through surveying the current Chinese herbal medicine market circulation of a. variety of counterfeits of Bleilla striata, tracking the sources of counterfeits, carrying out the source identification and pharmacognosy comparative study, the reference to clarify the chaos and identify the authenticity for the current Chinese herbal medicine market about Bleilla striata and its counterfeits were provided, which significantly ensure the medicine quality and rational utilization of resources. The main research contents and the results are as follows:1. Surveys on the Bleilla striata and its counterfeits in the representative Chinese herbal medicine professional market were taken. Shuibaiji as well as Polygonatum sp., Polygonatum odoratum (Mill.) Druce and Belamcanda chinesis (L.) DC were main counterfeits of Bleilla striata in the markt. The origin of shuibaiji was investigatied. The main sources of shuibaiji were Eulophia.spectabilis (Dennst.) Suresh and Eriodes barbata (Lindl.) Rolfe.2. The reproducibility of the method was good.4.2The UV identification of Bleilla striata and its counterfeits was established. The whole wavelength scanning in200-600visible light for all samples was carried out. The results showed that the biggest absorption wavelength UV spectral spectrum were different. This method could be used to identify the Bleilla striata and its counterfeits.4.3The HPLC identification of Bleilla striata and its counterfeits through the HPLC figure was established. The results showed that the retention time of chromatographic peak of characteristic of Bleilla striata and its counterfeits were different. It could provide the reference for identification.5. The base source identification, characters identification, microscopic identification, contrast identification of TLC, contrast identification of UV, contrast identification of HPLC between the Bleilla striata and its counterfeits were taken. The thirteenth sample of shuibaiji which was from origin tracking survey was consistent with Bleilla striata. The second, eighth,ninth and twelfth samples of shuibaiji were consistent with the fifteenth, and they were Eriodes barbata (Lindl.) Rolfe. The sixth and seventh samples of shuibaiji were consistent with the seventeenth, and they were Eulophia.spectabilis (Dennst.) Suresh.6. The security and pharmacodynamics comparative study was firstly taken, and the scientific basis for resource utilization and clinical application was provided.6.1The security of Shuibaiji was evaluated through the acute toxicity tests. The results showed that the MTD of Bleilla striata and shuibaiji was180g crude drug per kilogram. It was equivalent to720times of the adult clinical daily dosage. The research showed that acute toxicity was low and the security was good.6.2Through the hemostatic and antitussive of pharmacodynamics experiment, the similarities and differences between Bleilla striata and shuibaiji were studied. The study showed that the group of Bleilla striata could short the coagulation time of mice, the group of fifteen had no obvious effect to the coagulation time of mice, and the group of seventeen could prolong the coagulation time of mice. The results indicated Bleilla striata had obvious hemostatic effect, while shuibaiji did not have hemostatic effect.Compared with the blank group, the group of fifteen and seventeen could extend the cough incubation period, so it can reduce the cough number. There were significant differences. The results indicated the group of fifteen and seventeen could relieve cough, while the group of Bleilla striata could not. |
