Runx3(Runt domain transcription factor3) gene was recently found to be an importanttumor suppressor gene, which plays a key role in the regulation of cell growth and apoptosis.Previous studies have shown that the Runx3’s abnormal or ectopic expression (eg, methylation,single site mutation, etc.) has a relationship with a variety of malignancies, especially gastriccancer. Recent studies found that Runx3have an important role in the development of Tlymphocyte, which heavily increased the value of Runx3research. Proteomics is the era after thepost-genome era. Therefore, the analysis of the new gene functions and pathophysiology with theproteomics methodology is the research hotspot. Therefore, it is very important to obtain thecorresponding protein code and specific antibody. However, the commercial protein titer is verypoor. Four different immunization methods were designed in reference to the classic preparationof antibody of rabbit and murine source. And the advantages and disadvantages of theseimmunological methods are compared.
