Purpose：ToobservetheselfoftraditionalChinesemedicinedecoctionSangbeiPaul impregnable Treating children with the clinical efficacy of cough variantasthma and lung function, total serum IgE.Method：This study based on inclusion criteria screening of3-14years oldchildren in line with the diagnosis of cough variant asthma, a total of80cases,40cases were randomly divided into experimental group and control group (n=40). The experimental group taking Sangbei security impregnable, and with theaddition and subtraction cards, control group oral ketotifen Fen andaminophylline tablets, treatment is28days. The clinical improvement rate ofchildren before and after treatment were observed, the changes of Chinesemedicine for individual symptoms and changes in pulmonary function and totalserum IgE level in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the drug. Test beforeand after laboratory blood, urine, stool routine, liver and kidney function,and to observe the trial period, adverse effects occur, in order to evaluatethe safety of the drug.Results：1. Test Sangbei Paul impregnable cough variant asthma markedlyeffective rate was76.9%in the control group markedly effective rate was45.0percent respectively, there were statistical differences (P <0.05). Comparisonof two groups of children with individual symptoms of changes in circumstances,the test group cough, itchy throat symptoms, the effective rate was84.6%,71.9%in the control group were60.0%,55.0%, the experimental group than the controlgroup (P <0.05), expectoration, shortness of breath symptoms was compared tothe efficiency of the two groups, no significant difference (P>0.05).Improvement in lung function after treatment, two groups of children with lungfunction index the maximum voluntary ventilation (the MVV), when the flow rate(Vmax50) one second forced expiratory volume (FEV1),50%of forced vital capacity, peak expiratory flow (PEF) absolute value have all been significantlyimproved, but the experimental group than the control group (P <0.05). In totalserum IgE level, After treatment, serum total IgE levels with the same groupbefore treatment, P <0.05； the treatment group compared with the control groupafter treatment (P <0.05), there was significant difference.2. The clinical course of the study all children with no obvious adverse reactionsthat Sangbei Paul impregnable with good security in accordance with the securityevaluation criteria.Conclusion：TheimpregnableSangbeiensurechildrenwithcoughvariantasthmahave significant clinical efficacy, and can significantly improve pulmonaryfunction in cough variant asthma in children, reduce cough variant asthma inchildren with total serum IgE levels, and also has good security.
