Senile Hypertension Patients Constitution Types And Association Study Of Cardiovascular Risk Factors

[Objective] By collecting clinical information of definitely diagnosised elderly patients with hypertension in the elderly hypertensive patients to explore the Correlation between TCM Constitution Types and the distribution of population, gender, high blood lipids, glucose, uric acid and other factors. In order to treat the patients on the basis of TCM constitutional types, provide targeted intervention to point at the cardiovascular risk factors and provide clinical evidence for prevention and treatment of heart, brain, kidney and other target organ damage.[Methods1The241cases of elderly hypertensive patients are the internal medicine outpatient and hospitalized patients whom were collected in the period from2012April to2012December in the Wangjing Hospital of China Academy of traditional Chinese Medicine Department.140cases are Male,101cases are female; using the "TCM constitution classification decision table "designed in2009by China Association of Chinese medicineto to classify the cases; gauge the detection index value such as body mass index (BMI), plasma homocysteine (HCY) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), fasting and2h postprandial blood glucose (GLU), uric acid (UA); using statistical software SPSS17.0to analyse the statistics.[Results] Constitution type of statistical classification in241cases of senile patients with hypertension then discovery that the concentrated expression of these patients are in Damp-heat, Yang deficiency, yin deficiency of the three type of constitution, through this research can be found in patients with Damp-heat body constitution are prone to obesity and overweight the situation; and the metabolism of serum lipids in patients with Damp-heat constitution more often than other types of constitution. Patients with Yang deficiency constitution are prone to creatinine, urea nitrogen high situation; and uric acid metabolism in patients with Yang deficiency constitution more often than other types of constitution. Patients with Yin deficiency constitution are prone to C reactive protein high, which suggests the presence of some patients with chronic inflammation in vivo situation; and in patients with Yin deficiency constitution glucose levels is more often than other types of constitution.[Conclusion] Acorrding to The correlation analysis between various risk factors and constitution type we can see that the different constitution types tend to make individuals exhibiting a tendency for different risk factors, this has also formed the differences between individuals. So if we can strengthen the prevention work on some sensitive population, and in the beginning of the development of the disease, through the analysis of the collected cases, through the correlation analysis of Damp-heat, Yang deficiency, Yin deficiency of the three constitution and some common cardiovascular risk factors, hope to deepen the understanding of physical theory, into the implementation according to the goal of prevention of clinical disease.
