| Second Language Acquisition is a complicated process, which is influenced by manyfactors. The learner’s subjective factors and external forces are difficult to change, whilethe alteration of objective factors can make a big difference in learning effect. Improvingthe teaching methods of Chinese as a second language under the Chinese socialenvironment will enable foreign students to greatly increase the efficiency of the Chineselanguage acquisition.Based on the Second Language Acquisition thoery and previous studies, this paperresearches into the objective factors that influence the Chinese acquisition of foreignstudents who are primary Chinese learners through questionnairs. In light of her ownteaching practice, the author puts forward some strategies for teaching foreign studentswho are primary Chinese learners.The main content of this paper is as follows:The first chapter presents an overview of pervious studies, the significance of this paper,the study objects and methods.The second chapter analyzes the results of questionnaire survey, summarizes the mainobjective factors that influence foreign students’ Chinese asquisition, which includs theteacher’s classroom discourse, the impact of Chines subtitles on improving characterreading and grammar learning, classroom interaction, the quality of Chinese teachingtextbooks, the influence of students’ own ways of improving Chinese afterclass/extra-curriculum activities on language learning and so on.The third chapter put forwards some teaching strategies to forgien studuents who areprimary Chinese learners on the basis of the survey.Including the importance of the classroom discourse of teachers;classroom interaction andsecond language acquisition; the role of Chinese subtitles in multimedia teaching; theediting of TCFL(Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language) textbooks for primary level; thecurriculum and extra-curriculum activites for TCFL.The fourth chapter involves a brief summary of the teaching strategies, the limitation of thestudy in this paper and the vision for the future. |
