Traditional minority national sports is a treasure in our country sports enterprise, the state has always attached great importance to its development."Physical education and health course standard" proposes, to inherit and carry forward the national folk sports resources, increase the teaching content of selective. Ordinary high school sports teaching the development of traditional minority national sports ball games, accord with sports curriculum reform development requirements, this research has important significance in theory and practice.Using literature, questionnaire, interview survey and statistics, experimental research methods for the average high school in the development of traditional minority national sports ball games present situation and its influence factor to carry on the investigation, and in ordinary high school sports teaching in the traditional minority national sports ball games experiments.Through the research that the following conclusions:(1) ningxia ordinary high school physical education teachers have52%of the1-two traditional minority national sports ball games skills;(2)62%of the school sports funds shortage,84%of schools are not used for traditional minority national sports funds,71%of schools of traditional minority national sports equipment is short of ball games;(3)52%of the school, the school leader does not support the development of traditional minority national sports ball games,82%of the physical education teachers and86.1%of the students think that ordinary high school the development of traditional minority national sports ball project feasible;(4)56%of schools had never conducted a traditional minority national sports ball games;(4) the effect of average high school in ningxia traditional minority national sports development factors have a school factors, students, teaching factors, teachers factors factors, project factors;(5) ningxia ordinary high school sports teaching the development of traditional minority national sports ball games can improve students’100m,800m (female),1000m (male), standing long jump, grip the four physical quality;(6) ningxia ordinary high school sports teaching the development of traditional minority national sports ball games is very interested in students and.According to investigation and experimental put forward the following Suggestions:(1) ordinary high school should attach importance to the traditional minority national sports ball games, the launch of the physical education teachers to continue and improve traditional minority national sports ball games skills, improve equipped with traditional minority national sports ball games equipment quantity, improving the understanding of the school leader, and increase the funds investment;(2) to affect ordinary high school the development of traditional minority national sports factors of ball games, and carry out the corresponding to be made when plans and measures, to ensure that traditional minority national sports ball to the development of the project;(3) the development of traditional minority national sports project, to design the reasonable effective teaching content;(4) teaching in class and extracurricular union, expanding the development of traditional minority national sports ball games of space;(5) continue to strengthen the traditional minority national sports publicity, for more good project to enter the school the blackboard.
