Chinese university voluntary service as the main part of Chinese voluntaryservice, has developed nearly20years. In the past20years, no matter the number orthe scope of service, have achieved remarkable results. Through the universityvoluntary service, College students service society, and upgrade themselves. Moreand more college students participate in volunteer service through the universityvoluntary service organization, with the increase of the number of voluntary serviceorganization and volunteers, there are some problems and difficulties in thedevelopment of university voluntary service organization, such as relatively backwardsocial support system, the lack of national security laws and regulations, and the lackof the university voluntary service organization self-construction, the managementmechanism is not found, operational difficulties of funds, and so on. These problemsare largely restricting the development of Chinese university voluntary service. At thesame time, the development of university voluntary service is a systematic andcomplex problem, so we must go to strengthen the organization guides, to promotemutual cooperation and promote harmonious development. Actively build goodvolunteer service development environment, at the same time, further overcomeorganization management deficiencies, develop volunteer service activities, and striveto improve the service level through practice, and promote the further development ofuniversity voluntary service.The emphasis of this paper is to understand the present situation of thedevelopment of university voluntary service organization through research, to analyzeexisting problems and the reasons, further put forward university voluntary serviceorganization long-term management mechanism.First of all, on the basis of previous studies, define the concept of universityvoluntary service organization, long-term management mechanism.Secondly, this research take five universities in Beijing as an example, throughquestionnaire survey, individual interview and the literature data collection, discusscollege students volunteer’s motivation, participatory approaches, encountered difficulties, obstacles, rights and interests,and so on. Learn more about thedevelopment status of Chinese university voluntary service organizations; summarizethe university volunteer service organization’s problems and the causes, such as thesystem is imperfect, lack of protection mechanism and effective incentives andregulatory mechanisms, and so on.Finally, on the basis of the present situation of Chinese university voluntaryservice organization management, put forward the university voluntary serviceOrganization Long-Term Management Mechanism: gradually improving thevoluntary service organization system, establishing the reasonable project operationmechanism, perfecting training system and improving the safeguard mechanism,perfecting the incentive mechanism, establishing effective evaluation mechanism, soas to promote the healthy development of university voluntary service.
