Shanghai is a graceful city on the1930s. It has the true sense of thecosmopolitan. When most scholars go to find the root of the moderncity in China, they will be locked on1930s. The purpose of this subject is from the perspectiveof Folklore, and use the Shanghai’s as the background, through thestudy of the Shanghai city folk on the people behind the meaning of tostudy the formation and development of Shanghais urban folklore aswell as its characteristics of urban folklore. Its disciplines Shanghaifolklore as well as Shanghai Culture as a great significance.
