With the development of science and technology especially the progress of computertechnology and multimedia technology, visual culture has been developed rapidly and hasbecome an emerging culture racing together with writing text culture in the field of culture.Characterized by the visual image, visual culture enriched the content of literature education,made literature education in more diversified forms, made the education of classical literaturemore close to life and promoted the rapid development of literature education.At the same time, the visual image reading also made the students lazy in thought andthe culture lost deeply,etc. The high school literature education should be based on the text.On the point of high school literature education, the use of visual information made textinformation more intuitive. In the literary education, the use of image factors could enrichstudents’ aesthetic experience and promote their thinking ability and communicating ability.To avoid image reading’s affection on text reading, we should pay more attention to students’experience of exploring and the teacher s’ guidance. At the same time we should promote thedevelopment of students’ thinking and communicating ability according to the actual needs ofteaching.The first part introduced the present situation of the high school literature education inthe background of visual culture and visual culture’s influence on the high school literatureeducation. First talk about the definition, characteristics of visual culture, and then analyzethe literature reading status and Chinese teachers’ literature quality status in Zhaoyuan No.1Senior High School combined with the questionnaire survey. Talked about visual culture’spositive influence on the high school literature education from three aspects: the ways ofliterature education, literature education efficiency and interest of literature study.Talkedabout visual culture’s negative influence on the high school literature education from threeaspects: the reading habit, influence on the students’ literature thought and literature readingindividuality experience etc.The second part analyze the principle of high school literature education in thebackground of visual culture, from three aspects: one yuan understanding and multiplecomprehension、appreciation,independent interpretation and equal dialogue, classroomteaching combined with outside reading. The third part discussed the methods of high school literary education in the backgroundof visual culture.First talked about the role of language teaching on improving students’ literary aestheticculture. Analyzed how to lead students to experience the emotions of the literary works’beauty from the characters, plot and classroom teaching situation. Strengthen the cultivationof beauty of literary aesthetics through literary works from the students’ thinking in images,rational analysis and practice.Secondly, discussed how to use the education technology correctly to improve the effectof classroom education literature. From the creation of context, autonomous learning andcooperative inquiry, display results, self-improvement and comment four aspects to discussthe role of electronic whiteboard on literature education in the classroom.Third analyzed the extracurricular reading’ affect on literature education.On the first aspect, talked about the advantage of literature text reading. Literature textreading can be repeated and tasted many times to rich and broaden the students’ artistic realm;Literature text reading can arise more imagination and produce more joy of discovery; literarytext can improve the reader’s thinking ability than the image works, we must start to explorethe profound works from the reading of literary texts, mine the depth of thought.On the second aspect, elaborated how to cultivate students’ interest in reading, to formtheir good reading habits, and let them master the scientific reading methods. From fouraspects to train the students’ reading interests:create a good atmosphere of reading, let thestudents have the demand of reading, giving students a study example, and use the network tostimulate students’ interest.Let the students form the habits of marking,taking notes,usingreference books and reciting. Let the students use the whole reading method, scanningmethod,target reading method and comparative reading method correctly.In the high school literature education we should pay more attention to the main body ofstudents.Teachers should guide the students to explore the experience of text language charm,use appropriate visual factors according to the actual teaching needs to rich students’ culturebackground, to promote the students’ thinking ability and language expression ability, toimprove students’ humane accomplishment, and to lay the foundation for students’ lifelonglearning and personality development.
