Study Of The Regulation System Of Taxi Industry In Hangzhou Based On Its Service Quality Management

As the economic, political and cultural center of Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou plays animportant role in economics and transportation in East China. Nowadays, taxi industry, beingan important part of the transportation system in Hangzhou, has a close connection to ourdaily life. Thus, the improvement of the service quality in taxi industry is passengers’ need,the management’s aim, the regulation system’s starting point and core meaning at the sametime. Based on the service quality management in taxi industry, this thesis analyzes the statusquo of taxi industry and of the service quality regulation in it in Hangzhou by employingregulation theories of service quality in taxi industry. It then puts forward a series of measuresto solve the problems that exist in taxi industry, in order to provide the regulation with somereferences.Firstly, the thesis introduces regulation theories of service quality in taxi industrycomprehensively and then points out the necessity and urgency of government regulation intaxi industry through combining the service quality management in taxi industry andgovernment regulation theories. Secondly, the thesis analyzes the status quo of taxi industryand of service quality regulation in it in Hangzhou as well as the problems that exist. Finally,the thesis tries to come up with some constructive suggestions to help regulate service qualityin taxi industry, including perfecting the regulation system of taxi industry regulation,constructing a fair and reasonable competition system in taxi industry, optimizing itssurroundings, applying managerial cost accounting system and promoting the reform ofmanagement mode.
