Application And Research On Construction Of Urban Cadastral Database

Along with the geographic information technologies gradually combined with the computer technology, the application of GIS technology in cadastral management is already one of the most significant topics of current research. Wuhan Digital Technology Company developed a cadastral management information system independently based on MAPGIS to meet the automation requirements of the automated cadastral management system.However, data is the center of the cadastral management,so,to develop an appropriate cadastral database and an automated update mechanism is especially important to the automated cadastral management system.Cadastral database as the core, this paper not only studied the principle of database technology, and analyses the characteristics of related software, and successfully applied to the actual project, formed a relatively complete cadastral database established the technical route and process method. Proved that the SQL Server database management platform and MAPGIS cadastral management information system of cadastral database established in the advantage, can satisfy the requirements of the automation of cadastral management. Cadastral data is the core of database management, this paper analysis summed up a set of cadastral data organization methods and processes, can effectively prevent data loss in the conversion process, error, etc., ensure the quality of data, which has some reference value.The first part of this article introduces the background and the meaning of the construction of urban cadastral database and the research situation at home and abroad in this area,and show the importance of the systematization of the cadastral management specificly.The second part describes the software which need to use in the process to build the cadastral database,such as South CASS,EPSW and Microsoft SQL Server which use to build database in office work,introduce their advantages and disadvantages simply,and detailed introduces and contrast the hierarchical model,the network model and the relational data model in the database technology,we find that if the current relational database system optimizes itself in some techniques,its inquire efficiency is equally matched the efficiency of other database system which based on other data model.The third part mainly introduces the correlation techniques in building the cadastral database,and focuses on the inspection and handling of the graphic data and the attribute data before put them in database.The fourth part mainly introduce the research of the updating mechanism of the cadastral database,and describes five kinds of the land change forms,analysis their characteristic,obtain the incremental update methods which can meet the requirements of the cadastral database.The fifth part of this article put the techniques of building the cadastral database into the practice combine with the project of building the cadastral database in Guanling County,and prove the feasibility of this theory.
