Shizuishan located in the previous paragraph of the middle reaches of the Yellow Riverand on the northern Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. In recent years, due to the impact ofthe regional geological environment and human engineering activities, especially humanengineering activities, such as mining、road, avalanches、 landslides、mudslides、groundsubsidence and other geologicaldisasters which happened in city well developed, which forma serious threat to the safety of people’s lives and property, and also bring serious obstacles toconstruction of the national economic. To field investigation and data collection, we identify the regional geologicalenvironment of Shi Zuishan and the type of disaster, quantity, distribution, size, stability, andthe degree of harm, and also analyze the relationship of the formation of disaster with thetopography﹑geological structure、 lithology、 climate、 human engineering activities andother factors. On this basis, select suitable evaluation index system of geological hazard, calculate the weight of each index with the Analytic Hierarchy Process and to quantify forthem, and then, with the hydrological analysis, divide the slope unit, and use of ArcGISplatform which provided the space superposition、analysis and calculation functions, whichconduct to comprehensive evaluation of the hazard for the survey area.Last we should putforward reasonable planning proposals for the actual situation of geological disasters ofsurvey area. The main results obtained are as follows:(1) Geological disasters type of theSurvey area: collapse、landslide、 landslides and ground subsidence, collapse (that haveoccurred and potential) have60landslides (that have occurred and potential) have8,mudslides (that have occurred and potential) have92, the ground subsidence is8, the total ofthe hidden point is159.(2) The evaluation index system of geological hazard includehistorical factors、environmental factors and predisposing factors. Historical factors includedot density and surface density; environmental factors include slope indicator、 slopeindicators、 slope height indicators、rock and soil conditions and topography partitionindicators; predisposing factors include the indicators of human engineering activities andrainfall partition indicators.(3) Geological disaster risk of the investigation can be divided intohigh-risk areas、in the danger zone and low-risk areas. The total area of high-risk area is132.10Km2, accounting for3.30%of the total area of the survey; dangerous in a total area is1175.08km2, accounting for29.36%of the total area of the survey; low risk in a total area is 2695.56km2, which accounted67.34%of the survey area.(4) On the basis of risk zoning, thesurvey area can be divided into three control areas:important control area, less importantcontrol area and the general control area, important control area includes eight sub-regions,less important control area includes16sub-regions and general control area includes threesub-regions.The research results of this study for the thesis is to provide basic information and basisfor the local government to develop a detailed land-use planning、prevention planning ofgeological disaster and the construction of monitoring and forecasting system, which hasimportant theoretical and practical significance.
